7. Statement:
College professors under state government are protesting against the government for delaying the implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission.

8. Statement:
A devastating earthquake in Haiti claimed the lives of millions of people and caused an unprecedented damage to natural resources.

Solutions (4-6)

F cannot selected with B
Selection of J and N together is not possible
Selection of only one person is possible between L and K.
H is compulsorily selected with any one between D or K being selected. ( When D and K is selected than H will be also selected)

Solutions (7-11)

7. 4; Neither I or II follow. I does not follow because such decisions cannot be taken in a haste. II is an extreme step.
8. 5; Both are right courses of action. I follows because the international community should help a country fighting a natural calamity. II a natural calamity of disastrous proportions in one part of the country gives lessons to the countries of the world to be prepared to face such circumstances in future.
9. 4; I does not follow because there cannot be exceptions in the eyes of the law. II is also not a suitable course of action. II also does not follow because no punitive action is taken without a proper investigation.

11. 1; I is a right course of action to pre-empt any incident of fire in future. II is not a recommendable course of action because it is not certain whether company's assets were insured or not.
