Answers With Explanation....
01.(b)
02.(d)
03.(d)
04.(c)
05.(d)
06.(b)
07.(d)
08.(b)
09.(a)
10.(b)

1.(b)Breadth = 35 cm
Length = 35 – 14 = 21 cm
Area of rectangle = 21 × 35
Area of square = (21*35*1/7-24) = 81 cm^2
perimeter = √81*4 = 36 cm

2.(d)Diameter of circle = 15 + 6 = 21 cm
Radius =  21/2
Area = πr^2 = 22/7*21/2*21/2 = 346.5

3.(d)

4.(c)Side = 504 / 4 = 126
Area = 126 × 126 = 15876

5.(d)x + 3x + 5x + 9x = 360
18 x = 360
x = 20°
2/3((1x20)+(5x20))=>2/3x120 = 80

6.(b) Side of square =  √225 = 15 cm
Let breadth is equal to x cm, while length is (x + 16)
So, x(x + 16) = 225
x^2 + 16x – 225 = 0
x^2 + 25 x – 9x – 225 = 0
x ( x + 25) – 9 (x + 25) = 0
(x – 9) ( x + 25) = 0
∴ x = 9
Ratio = 15 / 9 = 5 : 3

7.(d)Smallest angle = 2/(2+3+5)*180 = 36
Largest angle =  5/(2+3+5)*180 = 90
Sum = 90° + 36° = 126°

8.(b)πr^2 = 154 => 22/7 r^2 = 154
r = 7
Diameter = 7 × 2 = 14 cm

9.(a)x(x + 4) = 221
x^2 +4x – 221 = 0
x^2 + 17x – 13x – 221 = 0
x ( x + 17) – 13 (x + 17) = 0
∴(x – 13) ( x + 17) = 0
∴ x = 13

10.(b) 48 / 4 = 12 cm
