cube's problem with tricky solution
In this article we can solve reasoning question that are based on cubes. In various exam cubes question like find cube with no face painted , with two faces painted and with no face painted asked in reasoning section. student are confused to solved this.

FOLLOWING TYPES OF QUESTION ARE ALWAYS ASKED IN EXAMS ON CUBE'S FACE
A cube painted red on two adjacent faces and black on the faces opposite to the red faces and green on the remaining faces is cut into 64 smaller cubes of equal size.
Answer :- first of all there is 64 smaller cube from a cube
Find side of this CUBE = 43 = 64
Then the side of the cube is 4

Now we can solve following question with simple tricks
1. How many cubes are there which have no face painted?
A) 0 B) 4 C) 8 D)6
Answer :- to find cubes with no face painted
by trick, ( n – 2 )3
by trick, ( n – 2 )3
Here n is the side of cube that is 4
( 4 – 2 )3 = 8
So, cubes with no face painted = 8
2. How many cubes have only one face painted?
A) 8 B) 16 C) 24 D)32
Answer:- to find cubes with only one face painted
By trick, ( n – 2 )2 x 6
Here n is the side of cube that is 4
( 4 – 2 )2 x 6 = 24
So, cubes with only one face painted = 24
3. How many cubes have two faces painted?
A) 80 B) 24 C) 28 D)48
Answer :- to find cubes with two faces painted
By trick, ( n – 2 ) x 12
Here n is the side of cube that is 4
( 4 – 2 ) x 12 = 24
So, cubes with two faces painted = 24
4. How many cubes are there with three faces painted?
A) 4 B) 8 C) 16 D)24
