D. 18 kg

Answers and Solution :
1. (A)
Let the numbers be a,b and c.
Given that a,b and c are the ratio 3:2:4.
Let,a = 3x, b = 2x and c = 4x
Given,(a+b) + (c-b) = 21
=> a+b+c-b = 21
=> a + c = 21
=> 3x+4x = 21
=> x =3
so a,b and c are 9 , 6 and 12.

2.(B)
3.(C)
Let the first numbers ,second number and third number be denoted as a,b and c respectively.
6a = 7b => a = 7/6 b
5b = 6c => c = 5/6 b
a - c = 20 => 7/6 b -  5/6 b = 20
=> b = 60
c = 5b/6 = 50

4.(C)
Let the numberof coins of denominations of one-rupee, two-rupee and five-rupee be 9x,6x and 4x respectively .Total value of coins 4(5x) - 6(2X) = 32
x = 4
Total value of the coins in the bag
9x + 12x + 20x =
41x = Rs. 164

5.(B)
6.(B)
The Ratio of male and female = 7 : 4
Let  no of male and female  = 7x and 4x
no of male = 84
7x = 84
x = 12
so no of female = 4x = 48
So total no of members in the club are (84+48) = 132
7.(C)
8.(B)
Ratio of two numbers is 3:5
then, the first number is 3x and 5x
(3x-9)/(5x-9) = 12/23
69x - 207 = 60x - 108
x = 11
so first number is 3x = 33

9.(C)
10.(C)
Weight of 6 m-long iron rod = 23.4/13*6 = 10.8 kg
