For a change, they asked three questions on the same Direction based problem Pattern.

Sitting Arrangement - In the given arrangement, some were looking Inward and some Outward. The puzzle was based on two more variables like colour, city, etc.

There was 5 questions on Linear Sitting Arrangement in which some people facing North and some South.

Data Sufficiency - Typical questions asked in IBPS PO Exam.

English

There were two Comprehension Passages based on Newspaper Articles. One was relatively easy.
Questions were based on Para Jumbles, Sentence Correction, Cloze Test, Fill ups.

Computer

The questions were very basic, direct questions and the overview of the subject is enough for attempting the section.

General Awareness

Equal weightage was given to Banking Awareness and Current Affairs.

For Current Affairs, our capsule was enough to solve 20-25 questions.

SOME KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER FOR THE UPCOMING BATCHES -

Reasoning
  • Don't attempt three variable sitting arrangement as you may get stuck while doing it and will end up loosing precious time.
  • Try to attempt Syllogism, Input/Output, Inequalities, Data Sufficiency first.
  • We should not assume anything from our side. Just consider the given statement to be 100% true and work accordingly.
  • Think Logically.
Quantitative Aptitude
  • Try to build up your speed while solving Ratios and Percentages so that you can solve the D.I. questions hastily.
  • Try to identify easy questions while doing Inequalities. There is a chance that you can stuck while finding roots.
  • Try to memorize Tables (upto 20) and Squares (upto 30)
English
  • Read newspaper on-line, specially Editorial Section of the newspaper (The Hindu). The Reading Comprehension is directly coming from the Editorial Section.
  • Reading newspaper will also help in increasing vocabulary, which will eventually help in solving Antonyms and Synonyms.
  • Cloze Test was also from Editorials of the newspapers.
Computer
  • Mug up the Computer Capsule.
  • No need to go in depth of the subject. Questions are direct from books.
General Awareness
  • GK Power Capsule is proving to be huge hit in the IBPS PO Exam. So, please mug it up.
  • Follow RBI & Govt of India website for latest schemes and updates.
Attempt Paper in 2 rounds: You should attempt the question paper in two rounds. While attempting each section - first do the questions, for which you are sure and which can be done in less than a minute. Leave tougher questions for the second round. This way, you will not miss any easy question in the paper and will be able to optimise the score.

IBPS will follow the same pattern in the upcoming batches because they have to follow the Equipercentile Method. We will provide a post on the same very soon. Please remember the key points and work on your weakness.
