Answers With Explanation:

1.(1) No. of employee promoted from maintenance & A/c  departments = 46 + 24 = 70
Required % = (70 *100) / (22*4200/100)
= 7.58

2.(2) No. of employee not promoted from HR department = (18 * 4200)/100 – 82 = 674
No. of employee not promoted from production department
= (21*4200)/100 – 48 = 834
Required ratio = 674 : 834 = 337 : 417

3.(5) No. of employee in IT department
= (25*4200)/100 = 1050

4.(3) % of promoted employee to the total no. of employee in maintenance department
= (46*100) / (10*4200/100)
= 10.95%

5.(4) Required % = (36*100) / (14*4200/100)
= 6.12 = 6%
